Welcome! I’m Eva!
I’ve always loved storytelling and sharing my creativity with the world, either through visual images or writing. I also enjoy documenting my life — whether I’m exploring a new place, trying different cuisine, or on an afternoon hike with my friends. Like many photographers, I took photos with my phone at first. In fact, I was daunted by a DSLR and all the additional settings that came with the DSLR camera technology.
I finally picked up a camera around the summer of 2017 and started dedicating more time and effort at the beginning of 2018. It was also around then when I created an Instagram account for my photography journey that would serve as
A digital portfolio showcasing my progress in refining my aesthetic eye for capturing images and improving my editing capabilities.
An active example of a mini social media project I built from scratch to present to hiring managers in social media / digital marketing roles I want to pursue in the future.
Now, that portfolio has become this website, which also includes a blog (and a print shop coming soon!). Since beginning this journey over a year ago, photography has become a very serious hobby and a side hustle. I’ve also been fortunate to meet and learn from several talented creators in the community who share the same passion as I do.
It’s amazing to me how there are so many breathtaking views in the world, you just have to look carefully to find them. It is my hope to capture the beauty in this world and paint a story of wanderlust through my vibrant photos. Thanks for being a part of my journey!
